Ryu Fujii x Odo East Village - Elevated Kaiseki Experience & Cocktail Pairing

Odo East Village is excited to announce a special four-day event with acclaimed bartender Ryu Fujii.  We will be offering an elevated Kaiseki Izakaya tasting course by Executive Chef Koji Toyoda, with guest bartender Ryu Fujii’s creating three special cocktails to pair alongside the menu. In addition to the cocktails, Fujii will serve a special surprise pour alongside dessert.

Owner of CRAFTROOM in Osaka, Fujii has made for himself as one of the elites in the Japanese bartending scene.  CRAFTROOM was ranked #28 in Asia’s Best 50 Bars in 2024, and remains regarded as one of the best bars in Japan.

Ryu Fujii began his bartending journey at the age of 20, working at bars in Kobe and Himeji.  He moved to Osaka to work at the acclaimed Bar K for fourteen years, leaving to open CRAFTROOM in 2020.  Fujii now spends his time running CRAFTROOM,  judging cocktail competitions, and guest bartending all over the globe.

Special Requests - Non-alcoholic version of the pairing is available. Most allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advanced notice.  Please note the menu is entirely gluten-free.
